Advocating for market entry

A leading global chemical company had manufacturing capabilities in only two African countries, despite having been present on the continent for several decades. The company needed to restructure its business in order to capture emerging opportunities.

We provided detailed market analysis and targeted stakeholder engagement across the prospective jurisdictions to enable the client to identify compelling commercial opportunities aligned to its core business. This was followed by the development of a strong narrative to build support for Africa expansion within the global leadership team, execution of a series of country visits for senior leaders to engage key influencers in-market and advisory on strategic communications to build profile and reputation.

We enabled the client to prioritise the geographies in which they would open offices and supported successful market entry and the establishment of four new country offices. The company has doubled its sales in the intervening period.
