Emmanuel Balogun

Emmanuel is a communications expert with over 14 years of experience supporting companies in achieving their strategic missions through communications, advocacy, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement. He currently leads our portfolio of work with development finance institutions and investors in the infrastructure and impact spaces. He also has extensive experience leading engagement strategies and campaigns in financial services, human development, technology, and sustainability. In 2023, he played a key role in ensuring the success of the landmark Africa Climate Summit.

Before joining Africa Practice in 2020, he worked as communications officer for the African Private Capital Association (AVCA) and as an investment communications consultant at investment fund GSA Coral.

He holds a BA in Anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London and an MA in African Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
