Human Rights, Modern Slavery Statement
At Africa Practice, we create an environment where people feel they are treated fairly and with respect. We embed respect for human rights into everyone’s working day, in every country where we operate and throughout our business.

- We comply with wage requirements and hour laws.
- We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or abuse.
- We will only work with people who adopt these same principles.
Our code of conduct embodies our purpose and values. It sets out our collective and individual commitment to conducting business in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations and industry requirements, as well as with a high standard of ethics and responsibility.
We are an active member of the United Nations Global Compact. We are committed to respecting and upholding internationally recognised human rights, aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We fully support the principles enshrined in the International Bill of Human Rights and the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain. This includes prohibiting the use of forced labour, child labour and debt bondage.
Our supplier code of conduct sets out the minimum standards we require of our suppliers and the wider sustainability aspirations we expect our suppliers to work towards. Our anti-slavery policy is included in our contracting processes.
We maintain a whistleblowing policy and internal assurance mechanism, in addition to monitoring allegations and root causes and ensuring full compliance at all times. If anyone within or outside the business has concerns about ethical issues, they can use the confidential e mail address w[email protected] to report the matter and this will be followed up per our policy and process.
