Krsna Powell

Krsna Powell leads philanthropic and development donor engagements at Africa Practice. She is a development practitioner specialising in resource mobilisation, impact-driven investment, and cross-sector partnerships. With more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors, she has advised multinational companies, social enterprises, philanthropic foundations, and development donors on growth and investment mobilisation strategies across responsible business, capacity building, economic resilience, climate, and natural capital.
Before joining Africa Practice, Krsna led global growth strategies, strategic partnerships, and advisory engagements for global social enterprises, NGOs, and a human geography data and analytics company. She has extensive expertise in designing and developing complex strategies and technical assistance programmes that drive measurable impact.
Krsna holds an executive certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Maastricht University, a Master of Public Administration in Urban Policy from Suffolk University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston.
