Tim Newbold

Tim leads Africa Practice’s operations in Nigeria and the wider region, having lived in Lagos since 2006. With over 20 years of experience in strategy, public policy advocacy, and corporate and financial communications, he is a leading advisor to companies in the TMT, financial services, and energy sectors. He also leads work for our portfolio of philanthropic clients, playing a key role in shaping their strategic and programmatic engagements in West and Central Africa.

Before joining Africa Practice in 2003, he spent his early career advising UK parliamentarians on communications and media.

He holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Manchester.
